Derek Kita

Derek Kita is a co-founder of InSpek with a PhD from MIT in chip-scale spectroscopy. His research focused on miniaturised optical spectroscopy systems, which directly informed the photonic sensing platform that became InSpek.

Derek's work bridges optical engineering and translational research, helping bring photonic sensing technologies from the lab into real industrial applications.
