The foundation for intelligent biomanufacturing.

InSpek is building the sensing infrastructure that makes biological processes visible, controllable, and scalable. Biology illuminated, industries accelerated.

About Hero Image - Laboratory X Webflow Template
The problem

Biomanufacturing runs without visibility

Biomanufacturing has reactors. It has automation. It has control systems. But it has never had real-time multiparameter visibility. Processes still run with limited insight, with delayed data, with reactive decisions. This leads to high failure rates, unpredictable scale-up, and slow development cycles.

What we build

What makes InSpek's sensor different

InSpek builds a new layer of infrastructure for industrial biotech — combining real-time sensing, structured data, and future intelligence layers.

01

Miniature size

Photonic-integrated sensors small enough to deploy directly inside the process — not on the bench.

02

All-in-one sensor

Multiple critical process parameters designed for a single integrated platform — starting with Raman, with additional modalities on the roadmap.

03

Sensitivity

Enhanced Raman sensitivity that captures the molecular signal industrial processes need.

04

Ambient-light insensitive

Performance unaffected by ambient lighting conditions — robust enough for real industrial environments.

05

Affordable

Photonic integration brings the price point of advanced sensing within reach of industrial deployment.

06

Versatile

Applicable across bioprocessing, chemical reaction monitoring, and beyond. One platform, many processes.

A shift in biomanufacturing

Biomanufacturing is entering a new phase: increasing process complexity, growth of cell and gene therapies, expansion of precision fermentation, and pressure on yield, cost, and scalability.

At the same time: AI is accelerating biotech discovery, Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is advancing, and photonic technologies are reaching industrial maturity.

But without continuous process data, AI lacks ground truth, automation lacks feedback, and optimization lacks signal.

The next era of biotech requires a new sensing infrastructure.

Our Approach
Leading The Search For Tomorrow Cures Image V1 - Laboratory X Webflow Template

From hardware to intelligence

We start with sensing. But we are building more than a sensor. Hardware is the entry. Data is the leverage. Intelligence is the multiplier.

Our approach is structured in layers:

Research

From research to industrial deployment

InSpek’s technology originates from advanced research in photonics and multiparameter sensing.

The company was founded to bring these capabilities out of the lab and into real industrial environments, where processes need to be understood, controlled, and scaled.

We build technology that works beyond the lab.

Where we are going

Our goal is to enable a new generation of biomanufacturing: processes that are continuously monitored, systems that are fully understood, and production that can be reliably scaled.

Over time, this leads to reduced failure rates, lower waste, faster development cycles, and more accessible biological production.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about InSpek.

What does InSpek actually do?

InSpek provides real-time multiparameter monitoring inside industrial processes. The system delivers continuous, in-line data on what is happening inside the process — enabling earlier detection of deviations, better process understanding, and tighter control.

How is this different from traditional monitoring?

Traditional monitoring relies on intermittent sampling, offline lab analysis, and delayed results. InSpek replaces this with continuous, in-line measurement and high-frequency, high-quality data. The result: earlier insight, faster decisions, and better outcomes.

What parameters can you measure?

Today, InSpek focuses on real-time multiparameter monitoring of metabolites and chemical compounds. The roadmap expands toward additional critical process parameters including pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and biomass — all integrated within a unified sensing architecture.

How do we get started?

We typically begin with a discussion of your process and objectives, identification of the most relevant parameters, and a pilot or proof-of-concept. Get in touch to scope a conversation.
